They had led people to the Lord in a town called Philippi

One of the girls they ministered to was demon possessed. She was used by these evil men for profit, as she could soothsay.

soothsaying is - prediciting the future professionally by divining spirits.

Also telling fortunes.

Let me say something along those lines.

There are television shows of people that “predict the future” or “communicate with the other realm”

that is demonic.
